Close Combat Mode is a game mode in Wanted: Weapons of Fate where the player must achieve a specified number of Melee kills within the scene. The number is shown in the top left hand corner of the screen.

"Butcher would be proud" is unlocked after completing the game on any Difficulty in Close Combat Mode.
Unlockables and Rewards[]
Completing Close Combat Mode unlocks the Nightmare as a playable character.
